Our services are designed to meet the needs of parents, students, educational institutions and other organisations.
The Advice Centre is where we offer impartial advice to users at every stage of education. From advice on selecting and applying to a nursery, school, college and university, to advice on creating a business and joining the armed forces as alternatives to going into higher education.
We take our users through the national cirriuculum, their options and choices of different types of insitutions at all levels and provide step-by-step guides to help manage and plan their choices of nurseries, schools, colleges, universities and courses.
The Advice Centre is a bank of independent advice articles and aims to be the “go to place” for comprehensive information related to all levels of education and career choices.
MyEd collects data for over 30,000 institutions and thousands of courses and displays this information in one place, making it easier for parents and students to research and select an institution to study. We call these institutions and courses listings because when you search our site results are presented as a list. These lists of education institutions display key profile and performance information, statistical data, tuition fees, official information, pictures and videos galleries, reviews and discussions. We offer institutions the opportunity to claim their listing at no cost so that they can update information, respond to reviews, manage enquiries and engage with parents and students.
Information in the listings has been sourced from government agenices and other private educational associations and institutions, such as OFSTED, The Department of Education, the Higher Education Statistical Agency (HESA), the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), Univeristies and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), QS World Ranking, UniStats and data.police.uk.
Our unique reviews process is an intelligence data analysis system that has been designed to provide our users with the most relevant and digestible information to help them make the best decisions on their investment in education.
The traditional open ended review format used by lifestyle services such as hotels, restaurants and general services does not work for education. We have therefore developed a survey style review process with carefully designed structured questions which aim to provide parents and students with detailed insights on the education provision to help them make well informed investment decisions.
We provide potential students and parents results of the reviews submitted by current and past students and parents on their first hand experiences of different institutions and courses in easy to digest graphical format.
