It has been developed by a team of a father and two sons with 50 years’ combined experience within the education sector. Prof Upkar Singh Pardesi OBE
Chief Executive Officer
Strategic Vision and Direction
Upkar is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer. He has extensive senior management experience of UK education in general and of the higher education sector in particular. Upkar was Dean of Birmingham City University Business School for twelve years (1996 – 2008) and was the university’s Director of Corporate Social Responsibility until 2010. He is currently advising the Ethiopian government on the development of the country’s first international business school at Addis Ababa University. He is the former Vice Chairman of the Nishkam School Trust and has extensive knowledge and experience of governance, leadership, and management of nurseries, primary and secondary schools in England. Market Intelligence and Lead Open Data Analyst
Harmil is the co-founder and Director at MyEd. As a father of nursery-aged children himself, he understands first-hand the need for an online search and comparison tool for education institutions. Having navigated the tricky nursery research process, Harmil had a clear idea of how a service like MyEd could help other parents. Harmil has over 10 years experience in education marketing, has been the marketing manager at Birmingham School of Acting and Birmingham City University. Design, User Engagement and UI
Eamon a co-founder and Director. He has a background in tech development and web design. His role at MyEd is to enhance user experience and the design of the site as well as devising monetisation strategies and researching and developing current and future service offerings.
