- Staff greet children and parents warmly at the door.
- This helps to support children's emotional development.

- Despite weaknesses in the educational programme, children enjoy playing with a wide range of resources.
- Staff provide them with opportunities to be creative through painting, chalking and making robot houses.
- Children enjoy creating their own artwork from frozen paint.
- They confidently show their work to staff when they have finished.
- However, there are times that activities offered to children lack purpose or challenge.
- Overal , children behave appropriately and are polite.
- They learn to share and take turns.
- Staff remind children not to run and to be kind to each other.
- Children know the routine of the day and help to tidy up.
- They take it in turns to place foam blocks one on top of the other to construct a tower, and laugh together when it falls to the floor.
- However, leaders do not ensure that there is sufficient focus on developing children's communication and language skil s.
- What does the early years setting do well and what does it need to do better?n The manager has taken action to address weaknesses identified at the lastinspection.
- Some of these changes are not fully embedded and require further improvements.
- The manager supports staff through regular meetings and supervision sessions.
- She provides staff with feedback, in order to raise standards in their practice.
- The staff team has worked hard in a short time to improve the environment both indoors and outside.n The manager and staff plan a curriculum that follows children's lead and takesinto consideration their interests.
