- Staff provide challenging activities and use skilful questioning to help children learn.
- Therefore, children progress well towards their next stages of learning.
- The environment is challenging and well resourced, which enables children to make choices about their play and learning.
- It is not yet outstanding because:Staff keep children safe but do not always help children to think about their own safety during physical play.
- Therefore, children do not have consistent opportunities to assess risks for themselves as they move around and play.
- Staff do not consistently provide children, particularly the younger children, with resources to help them learn to solve problems.
- Therefore, they do not fully promote their mathematical skills at such times.
