- Children enjoy caring relationships with staff at the nursery.
- As a result, they are happy and keen to learn and their confidence grows rapidly.
- All staff are trained in first aid which enables them to take appropriate action in the event of an accidental injury.
- They follow policies and procedures for any accidents and keep parents informed of any treatment that is given.
- Staff work closely with parents to make improvements to their practice.
- They take on board any comments and make changes as necessary.
- This drives continuous improvement.
- It is not yet outstanding because:The organisation of mealtimes means that children sit waiting for extended periods of time, which sometimes leads to them becoming restless.
- Staff occasionally miss opportunities to develop children's play further through using real-life items to extend their role play experiences and imagination skills.
