- It is not yet good because:Staff in the pre-school room do not organise daily routines well to promote children's learning.
- At times children have to sit for too long, become fidgety and disinterested.
- Staff in the pre-school room have not addressed a recommendation from the last inspection.
- Staff do not encourage children's independence sufficiently, for example, staff often carry out tasks for the children that they are able to do for themselves.
- Although leaders and managers have put suitable arrangements in place to address key actions, there is still inconsistency in the quality of teaching and staff's performance.
- Some staff supporting two-year-old children do not always engage them fully in activities that interest them, hold their attention and build on their individual skills.
- Staff do not always support children's understanding of healthy practices.
- It has the following strengths Children are happy and settled and form strong attachments with key staff.
- Children under two benefit greatly from good quality teaching and effective assessment.
- There are good arrangements to support children as they move between rooms.
- Parents receive plenty of information about their children's progress and are involved in their children's learning.
- The staff team provides a safe and secure environment.
