- Staff ensure risks are managed and staff know what action to take to protect children.
- Staff have good links with the school, especially the Reception teacher, and discuss the support they intend to offer to complement the learning taking place in school.
- It is not yet outstanding because:The system for sharing information with parents about what their children have been doing on a daily basis is less well-planned for.
- Staff do not always maximise spontaneous opportunities for children to play outdoors, so children can freely choose if they wish to play outside.
