- This provision is good Relationships between children and staff, and between children, are exceptionally strong and trusting.
- Children play extremely well together and squabbles are very rare.
- They fully understand and respect the club's ground rules because they have all contributed to setting them.
- Staff work in very close partnership with the schools that children attend, and with parents, to support children's individual needs.
- The premises are exceptionally well presented and equipped with a wide range of play resources.
- Children have great opportunities to engage in adventurous and physical outdoor play and to learn about healthy eating through planned projects and visiting nutritional experts.
- The new manager, who had only been in post for four weeks at the time of inspection, is very experienced and extremely dedicated to supporting children from the local community.
- She has already made significant improvements, such as for safeguarding children's welfare, and has a clear action plan in place.
- It is not yet outstanding because:Although there are plans for outdoor investigation areas these are not yet in place which limits children's opportunities to explore and experiment.
