- This provision is good The new managers work well as a team.
- They are enthusiastic and have good communications with staff, parents and children.
- For example, children were taken on a theatre trip following suggestions by parents and children.
- Staff join in with children's play, acting as good role models and, as a result, children's behaviour is good.
- For example, when building the den, older children support younger ones to cooperate with each other and to take turns and share.
- Children are encouraged to communicate with staff and each other to decide what they wish to do or what they like.
- For example, at snack time children discuss what they want on their toast and the games they will play.
- This promotes their confidence and self-esteem.
- The managers seek out regular training for themselves and other staff.
- This means staff have up-to-date knowledge on how to provide activities and experiences that appeal to children's interests and they know how to keep children safe.
- It is not yet outstanding because:Systems for monitoring and evaluation are developing which means that some opportunities and resources are not as effective.
- For example breakfast club does not yet provide food and older children do not have as much choice for dressing up as different characters in their play.
