  • However, ongoing checks throughout the day are ineffective, particularly in the baby room.
  • The manager and staff do not identify and remove possible hazards that may pose a risk to children's safety.
  • For example, resources and equipment are left across the floor and by door exits, which could cause tripping hazards for young children.
  • Children receive inconsistent support from staff who have low expectations of what individual children can achieve.
  • Children, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), do not have sufficient opportunities to make steady progress in their learning.
